Driver Rehabilitation Specialist Live Workshops

Our educational workshops have been offered for many years now and we will continue to offer the popular Workshops 102 and 103. Workshops 204 and 205 are scheduled on request.

Workshop 102 and 103 are for the allied health professional whom wishes to transition into the role of a specialist in driving and community mobility or who is developing a new driver evaluation program or updating an existing program. The only prerequisites for workshops 102 and 103 are proof of an allied health degree/license, and a certificate of completion for Workshop 102 before registering for 103. You may register simultaneously for Workshops 102 and 103.

Workshop 204 and 205 are for the advanced practitioner with experience in driver rehabilitation who desires to obtain advanced education and skill in sub-specialty areas such as van evaluations or working with low vision and bioptic drivers.

NOTE: Adaptive Mobility Services, Inc. does not provide professional certification in this area as that is offered through professional organizations. However, our workshops will assist in preparing one for readiness for the current certification programs.

In the 12 years that I have been practicing as an OT, this is one of the first courses I've been to that I've actually learned so much and enjoyed at the same time. Angie Schrader, OTR from Sioux Falls, SD

Upon completion of both courses, I felt extremely prepared to take the Certification exam to earn my CDRS. Liz Green, OTR/L, CDRS from Hickory, NC

Carol and Susan's years of experience and case studies have taught me how to think out of the little box we find ourselves stuck in as clinicians addressing community mobility. Timothy Jones OTR, CDRS from Fredrick, MD
